i left Early following up on a FreeCycle post of plywood, garden bricks, pvc pipe, two solid wood doors and more. when i called last night, they said yes. and Lumber. it was the LUMBER that got me. well...as it goes what is Lumber to one is scrap wood to another, but still, some good stuff. only one of the doors is solid. but that's ok because it's a good door. and some metal Tposts, fence posts, and yes, some plywood. bits and pieces. i am learning to look at Goat materials like i look at cloth scraps...some here, some there and you've got a whole Thing. i'll take pics tomorrow or Friday when i unload it. because i will have HELP, maybe, ? my friend Terri is coming on her way back from vacationing in Arizona tomorrow eve. she'll be here till Monday am. so...if she's Fit, i will put her to work. She's a lot younger than i am. Haven't seen her in over 20 years. Terri is from my Other Life, in Michigan. the Other Me that lived that life.
and the FreeCycle house was down the road from my Friends, Mike and Thelma and what Was their Native Plant Nursery till they gave it up a couple years ago. so i stopped there on the way out and as we do, they asked what was happening, and i tried not to say anything about it, but as i am, i did and told them about the Goat thing with neighbor. and as most people do, Mike offered some humorous comments which i'm used to, but because i really like them and know them to some good degree, i almost started to cry. Which is NOT me. Not at ALL the me they know, and it was uncomfortable, but Mike went to find some rope to tie down my FreeCycle load so it wouldn't fly off on the freeway and Thelma...being
a WOMAN and i continued the conversation and she wasn't able to offer any solution of course, but she didn't try, either. she just looked up at the sky, over at some trees, down to her feet and into my face. just hugged me. and off i went.
came home to do some more HouseKeeping and then to think more about faces.

His Holiness, the Dalai Lama
and this man. John Wires. Cynthia had emailed a link to East Hill Tree Farm in Plainfield, Vermont. Looking at their bare root offerings and scrolling down, there suddenly was This face.
What an incredibly Beautiful Face and i was taken, completely, with wishing i could sit with him, just talk. Let the talk go anywhere at all and not end until everything that wanted to be said, had been.
