the computer desk has been caving in in the center of it's two parts for years. it wasn't pleasant, but not unpleasant enough to take it all down and apart for to do anything about. But some things for me ARE a catalyst. In this case, the new

printer. w h i t e which would be very uncomfortable for me up there where the other printers have been. The old HP that died was grey. The new crummy Epson was a beautyfull Black. This, the cheapest of the HP line only comes in
w h i t e
so i said, c'mon, grace, get over it but it arrived today and it was SO
w h i t e
see it? peeking out in all its whiteness...there beyond the chair cushion on the lower shelf? That shelf previously had cobwebs dust maps and the phone book. Everything came OFF the desk and i brought in some different 2x4s and re-propped and straightened, aligned....a few screws and TaDa. Took a deep breath and ran the download for the set up and all went as it was supposed to and i have just fine enough prints of stuff. Finally. The crummy Epson will go on Freecycle with the statement that i hate it, that it uses enormous amounts of ink but that it is virtually brand new. Recycler beware.
There were quick Electrical Storms, GRAND ones, off and on, sharing the day with brilliant Sun Light.
