son's daughter,  my colorado Granddaughter Giana,   brought her to me as a trip souvenir when they drove here 5 years ago.  Lately she's been over there on the Old Cowboy's drawer thingy by the door.   We have become    close.   Sharing some same sense of something.     today,  Episode 2 of the RumblestripVT podcast    Erika Heilman    series:   What Now Sounds Like     where she gathers no more than 5 minute offerings that listeners from around the world send of What Now Sounds Like for them   right now.    It's a RELIEF that there's  no expectation or hope that stuff be "on the sunny side".    it's not.

these made it possible.   This needle slides through like butter.       the but/and     requires a very fine thread...i have that oh so great fine but STRONG silk thread that Lace Lady tracked down in the UK.  the eye of this needle is     tiny.   can be frustrating, OR,   good Practice.   

one of those things.   a What Now thing.    I used it for Minnow's bed in those first mud days of this rain season.   It's fading even in winter Sun.   Needs to be washed.   but.....then what?   Maybe just back to the Dragon?

my brother still has it.   The only phone in my family home..through all the time they lived there...through my years of high school and for them,   beyond.  and you can see,  my dad was enamored of his dymotape gadget.   Close nearby there was an hourglass sand egg timer.  Long distance was expensive.  My mother's sister,  my Aunt  Francis,  was long distance...over there, on the other side of the state.  When my mother would call,  he would turn it.   Said 3 minutes was enough for anything.   Times have changed.

they dug 5 times.  same result...No.   A septic field,  leach field,   filters.     the soil filters.    Here,  rocks and rocks cannot filter.  So,  we need an Engineered Septic.   The guy who digs will contact an Engineer he works with who will draw up the plans.  Digging guy will implement those plans which will require soil to be brought in.     More complicated,  twice as expensive,  more time,  BUT...it will be done.   And then.   Then we can go forward.
